Preparedness
There will always be challenges that we will have to face in life. many of them we cannot predict. So then, how do you prepare for them?
Because our preparedness affects our family and those who depend on us, we need to be ready. We need to see things as they really are and we need wisdom to respond.
Time is also something that we must redeem and wisely spend because it is a limited resource.
We need to ask God to speak to us and reveal things prophetically, by the Spirit of God because God's ways are higher than ours, and we need to listen to Him in order to walk in them (Isaiah 55:8-9, 1 Corinthians 2:9-16). We need to position ourselves and prepare ourselves based upon the leading and direction of the Spirit of the Lord. We can be prepared by the Spirit of God.
We know that God loves us and has made His grace available to empower us and prepare us for glory. Therefore we need to be prepared, not simply because of the impending difficulties, but because God has opportunities to bring great blessing and light and life into the world through His people.
