Great and Precious Promises Part 2

God's word is eternal and does not fail yet many people put more confidence in the word of man over the truth of Scripture. Although many have been to church, read their bibles and know the word of God, they do not experience its power in a significant way. We need to ask God to make sure that we are free rom the deception which believes that because we know God's word, we do it.

People need saving from sin and God promised us salvation in Christ. The only way to stop sin from producing death in us is by putting it under the blood of He who defeated death through resurrection. Only the power of the blood of Jesus through the working of the Holy Spirit can we overcome sin.

Salvation is not available in any other name but the name of Jesus. If you trust in Him, God is not limited in His ability to save and will bring peace, joy and wholeness into your life.
